ColdLar Wallet Pro 3 Represents New Advance in Mobile Payments

For those who invest in, or just use, cryptocurrency, one of the biggest issues involved is how to store it. Some will just leave it on the exchanges in which it’s bought, but others prefer to have it in their possession. That calls for some kind of storage media, or wallet system. Recently, the folks at ColdLar issued a bit of word our way about its new hardware wallet, which may well be the weapon of choice for many cryptocurrency investors.

ColdLar’s new wallet, the ColdLar Wallet Pro 3, offers up a cold wallet, a hardware solution that allows for storage of blockchain assets like cryptocurrency. It’s not just that, though, as it’s also a complete set of security storage options as well. It offers a protection scheme ColdLar’s calling “Dimension Reduction Protection,” which represents the combination of a cold wallet and hot end APP besides.

The two tools together allow for not only transaction building and transaction signing through the cold wallet, but the hot end APP to serve as a means to broadcast transactions and check balances. Information is encrypted and transmitted via near-field communications (NFC) or two-dimensional code, which makes for secure transactions. ColdLar Wallet Pro 3 even supports several languages, reports note, including Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and English.

Those interested in picking up a ColdLar Wallet Pro 3 will be just as interested to know that, through the end of the month, there’s a special sale on Amazon. Ten units per day will be available at half off the normal price of $620, selling for $310, and some units will actually sell for $1.

Having a secure, easy-to-use cold wallet could be a very useful thing, though ColdLar might have a problem on its hands. Even at its heavily discounted rate, it’s still a substantially higher-priced solution than many of its contemporaries. While some would say its looks and functionality might make it worth a premium, it’s tough to imagine that anyone would spend as much as six times or more what a competing item would run. ColdLar clearly wants the high-end market, but that may be tough to come by.

Still, there’s a lot to like in the ColdLar, and it may well be able to generate a market going forward.
