Paysafe Augments its Management Team With New Hires
New word arrived our way recently from Paysafe, a major operation in global payments provision, about some new additions to the management team. The company added two new vice presidents to its sales divisions, bringing in Bill Ranta as the new vice president of the card not present sales division, and Gretchen Bender as the new senior vice president of sales in ISO agents and direct sales.
Both Bender and Ranta will be working in the North American operations, working to augment Paysafe’s presence in one of the planet’s largest markets.
Bender offers over two decades of sales leadership experience, working in both merchant services and fintech operations. She was most recently spotted as the senior vice president for US direct sales for Global Payments in Atlanta, working referral partner sales, business development and overall sales operations. Now with Paysafe, she’ll be turning her attention to growing sales and revenue for ISO, agent, and direct card present operations.
Ranta, meanwhile, has better than 16 years experience in both electronic payments and card not present operations, including a 10 year run at Litl & Company handling their international expansion efforts, which went quite well at last report. Now, he’ll be focusing on driving mid-market operations, as well as card not present operations.
Paysafe’s CEO for North American payment processing Todd Linden noted “…I’m confident they (Bender and Ranta) will be real assets as we continue to invest in and grow our North America Payment Processing business in 2018 and beyond. They are both highly customer-centric in their approach and I’m sure our customers will value their support and experience as we continue to introduce new products to meet their evolving needs.”
While perhaps, somewhere, there exist hypothetically better candidates than Bender and Ranta, it’s easy to see that these two have a wide body of experience in their respective fields. As such, they should have a reasonably good idea of what developments to expect, what developments have already taken place that can be drawn upon, and how to put it all together for the improvement of the overall operation.
Only time will tell just how well these two do in their new slots, but given their backgrounds, this should go well for all concerned.
