Wigwam uses Sock Giveaway to Promote New Brand Narrative

Just like your favorite pair of jeans or that sweatshirt you consider an “old friend”, everyone has that one pair of socks they’re always reaching for in the sock drawer. The pair that keeps their feet dry, blister free and comfortable in any conditions. Whether it’s a weekend camping trip, an upcoming 5K or next seasons powder day, it’s the sock of choice to keep their feet feeling great. We hear time and time again, at events, in product reviews and on social media that many people consider Wigwam to be their favorite pair.

With this in mind, Wigwam has developed a new, yet fitting brand mantra to describe what it is that consumers think of when they think of wigwam; #myfavoritepair. We hear over and over again from consumers who use our socks, that Wigwam has become their favorite pair - the pair that keeps their feet comfortable every time they head out for a hike, run or whatever it is they love to do – and we couldn’t be more thrilled!

So what is it that makes Wigwam the pair of socks that are continually being put on for every adventure? Is it the quality of materials and craftsmanship, or the superior durability, or the patented moisture managing technology that goes into each pair? Maybe it’s the fact that you don’t need to replace them after 3, 4 or 5 years of wear. Whatever it is that makes Wigwam the favorite pair, we want to know!

During the months of July, August and September Wigwam will be hosting a #myfavoritepair Sock Giveaway to support the introduction of our new brand mantra and give our consumers an opportunity to win more of their favorite Wigwams! Consumers will be asked to submit a photo of their #myfavoritepair socks, tell us what makes their favorite pair of Wigwams the only socks you want to wear and they’ll have a chance each week to win a couple FREE pair! We will also be using the #myfavoritepair logo across all marketing channels from print, to digital on our product packaging, POP and in-store displays.
