Thus, the app is not only able to tell where you’re located, but also where the food trucks are slated to be during certain portions of the day. Those who want a breakfast truck, for example, will be able to find which trucks are in your immediate area in the morning, and the same goes for lunch.

This may be one of the most clever uses for an app and food trucks together yet. The idea that you could pay for and order from a rolling mobile restaurant that could be only feet from your workplace or home is staggering. Forget about drone deliveries from a restaurant 30 miles away, imagine freshly-cooked food that’s dropped off at your home seconds after it finishes its cooking time. Granted, food trucks aren’t glorified delivery vehicles, but if you find one whose route comes close to your home, you’d effectively have the same thing going on.
