Aragon Partners with Mobile DApp Browser Status.im
Aragon, the decentralized management platform for companies, recently announced its partnership with Status.im.
Status.im is referred to as a decentralized app browser, messenger, and gateway wherein users may safely store ETH and other Ethereum crypto-assets. The union will enable Aragon companies to create and maintain their organizations from literally anywhere around the globe via a mobile device.
Using Ethereum hardware, Aragon is the first management tool developed exclusively to disintermediate the creation and maintenance of companies on the international scale.
Aragon will offer a new, more efficient model for companies to operate, requiring only the Internet to function.
It includes basic features like cap table management, governance, fundraising, payroll, and accounting, supporting all areas of company management through an easy-to-use interface.
“Our aim is to make decentralized organizations widespread. To achieve this vision, we have built the easiest way to operate organizations on Ethereum. However, up to this point we have only been available on Linux, MacOS, Windows and web browsers, leaving out some 2.3 billion smartphone users. It was the need for bringing Aragon to mobile, without the excessive development hurdles of building native Android and iOS applications, which inspired our collaboration with Status,” said Luis Cuende, Co-Founder and Project Lead at Aragon.
Having gotten its start back in 2016 in Singapore, with offices in Switzerland, Status Research and Development is an open source mobile decentralized app browser and messenger built for Ethereum.
By means of creating a portal to Ethereum and the decentralized web, Status looks to act as a gateway of source for everyday smartphone users to begin using DApps and a simple way for DApp developers to reach new users.
In addition to accessing the ecosystem of DApps, users can send encrypted messages, smart contracts, and digital currency to one another using Ethereum’s decentralized protocols.
“Over the course of the coming months, Status will bring Aragon to mobile, creating a user-friendly experience with an engaging and well-designed user face. We look forward to providing our Aragon organizations with the ability to develop and maintain their decentralized organization on mobile, creating value at the tap of a button,” added Cuende.
“Aragon is one of the projects we are most excited about in the entire space. The ability to form borderless organizations, instantaneously, and at a fraction of the transaction costs of traditional infrastructure; will foster entrepreneurship on a global scale. Naturally, a mobile interface is a perfect match, particularly for catering to developing markets,” said Jarrad Hope, Co-Founder of Status.
