ICBA Bancard is known as the payments services subsidiary of the Independent Community Bankers of America, and it has some exciting partnership news. It has just announced today that it has forged a partnership with linked2pay, the California-based creator of Bank Centric Payments. They have quite an impressive background, having been an award winning white label solution. They will allow community banks to help their SMB customer manage cashflow and receivables.

“The single platform approach for the delivery of payment solutions is changing the way we all do business,” said ICBA Bancard President and CEO Tina Giorgio. “We see the linked2pay platform as an ideal opportunity to provide a broader range of solutions for the community banks we serve. Ultimately, it’s a solution that will help streamline their process, providing positive results for both the community bank and its customers.”

The company platform offers a seamlessly deployed, risk-contained space for the registration, underwriting, and delivery of ACH, remote deposit capture and card payment transactions through a cloud-based system.

As a result of this partnership, ICBA members will have access to a “highly-scalable” payments platform with the hassle of operational burdens and costs attached to building their own platform from scratch.

“We are excited that ICBA Bancard has selected our Bank Centric Payments as a preferred payments solution platform for its community bank clients,” said Jay McShirley, CEO and chairman of linked2pay. “We look forward to empowering community banks through the delivery of payments innovation and automation, and by doing so in a manner that enables them to compete and win in the payments solutions marketplace.”
