Na’ama Moran, the CEO and Co-founder of Silicon Valley-based Sourcery Technologies, Inc., has been announced as the winner of the 2017 Top Woman in Foodservice Technology in the Innovator category by Hospitality Technology Magazine.

The awards will be presented live at the 2017 Multi-Unit Restaurant Technology Conference from March 7th until the 9th at the Rio All Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, NV.

The award program’s purpose is stated as a recognition of a diverse group of women in the foodservice technology space. This includes restaurants, as well as technology suppliers. These women are noted for reshaping the status quo within the restaurant industry and demonstrating a degree of excellence in leadership, inventiveness, and skill.

“Before fintech, before coding, and before hedge funds, I knew food. Growing up on a turkey farm helped me appreciate the importance of one of humanity’s most basic needs. Over the course of growing Sourcery, I identified an underserved market that could benefit from my specific skill set: the food service and hospitality industry,” said Moran.

Sourcery is a company that has made a name for itself by building an industry-specific payments and commerce platform for the wholesale foodservice and hospitality space.

The platform of Sourcery allows food suppliers and buyers to manage their transactions online, from everything from e-invoicing to payments to product selection.
