The Future of Fintech Is Coming to New York Law School

In a few days, the most innovative minds in the fintech industry will converge in New York for FinTech Week.

At the focal point of the week’s activities is the Next Money New York 2016 Conference on September 7th at New York Law School.

From 8am until 6pm, the School will have a full day of programming planned, featuring compelling discussions pertaining to discussions about the frontline challenges and opportunities of the financial services industry including “FinTech Future Trends” and “Innovating in a Heavily Regulated Environment.”

The event will begin with a keynote from FinTech industry expert, author, speaker, and radio personality Brett King, CEO of Moven, talking about a roadmap of the future called “Augmented-Life in the Smart Lane.”

Also, the day will have in store the BBVA Open Talent Challenge, with demos from 20 groundbreaking FinTech Startups that are competing for 30,000 euros.

The pitches include US-based startups as well as global startups including startups from Japan, Latvia, Singapore, Turkey, and Azerbaijan.

The event will end with an influential keynote by the so-called “FinTech titan” Dave Birch, Director of Innovation of CONSULT HYPERION.

Called “What Does Identity on the Blockchain Really Mean?”, the talk encompasses the various uses of Blockchain, and how those uses are vastly untapped thus far.
