FIME and Barnes’ Joint Personalization Validation Tool Achieves Latest Mastercard Qualification
FIME and Barnes International today announced that Mastercard has qualified their jointly developed personalization validation tool against its latest requirements, version 9.2.
The test tool allows issuers, card manufacturers and personalization bureaus to accelerate the certification and launch of secure chip products.
These include contact, contactless, and dual interface EMV cards, as well as near field communication and contactless-enabled solutions.
“With EMV adoption and demand for mobile and contactless payments soaring worldwide, issuers must be able to deliver fast, secure and convenient payment solutions to consumers,” comments Xavier Giandominici, Vice President – Financial Services at FIME. “By ensuring product compliance with the EMV and Mastercard requirements throughout development, this tool enables issuers to avoid costly delays and bring their solutions to market quickly.”
Brian Summerhayes, Managing Director at Barnes International, commented: “Barnes’ test tools are now used in over 95 countries and our continued growth is due in part to our close partnership with Mastercard to ensure our clients are protected from fraud in an increasingly complex ecosystem. By utilizing this tool, users can overcome these new challenges and validate their solutions quickly, efficiently and cost-effectively.”
FIME is the implementation partner of choice for the financial services sector and is accredited by the major international and domestic payment brands for card personalization validation services.
Issuers will also be happy to learn of the benefit from FIME’s complete portfolio of training, technical support and consulting services.
