FIME Accredited by UnionPay for Card Manufacturer Certification

FIME recently announced that its French and Taiwanese test labs have become the first ever-international centers to be granted accreditation by Union Pay to perform card manufacturer certification testing.

Global card manufacturers and personalization bureaus are now able to work with FIME to become an authorized’ UnionPay vendor, allowing them to supply UnionPay’s global network of more than 200 issuing banks.

FIME’s certification services deals with four major areas: IC card and embedding, IC card personalization, magnetic stripe card personalization and card manufacturing.

Vendors that want to work with UnionPay issuers must first achieve one or more of the aforementioned certifications.
