World First Soars to Seventh in Latest Sunday Times List of High-Growth Businesses
World First, an expert in international currency, has recently been named seventh in the Annual Sunday Times HSBC International Track 200.
The list is made up of Britain’s mid-market private companies with the fastest-growing international sales, taken over the latest two years of available accounts.
With the seventh place position, World First becomes the highest placed financial services business in the list after another year of considerable internal growth across Europe, Asia, North American, and Australia.
World First employs 400 people across the globe in London, Sydney, Singapore, Austin, with licenses to serve customers in over 45 countries.
In addition, World First also launched a new service in Japan granting access to the Japanese market for online sellers around the world.
Traditionally, an international track company has total sales of £25m-200m, an average two-year internal sales growth of 15 to 340 percent p.a. and has between 10-1,000 members of staff.
This year’s leading businesses included Pret A Manger, Brewdog, Neal’s Yard Remedies, and Skyscammer.
“I am delighted by the progress we have made in moving up the list and into the top ten for the first time. It is excellent recognition of the hard work our employees have put in over the past year as we continue on our international growth trajectory. Our recent launch in Japan was further proof of our desire to be a truly global company and we are set to open our first office in the Netherlands later this summer. It is also an honour to be in the esteemed company of other British success stories that are going global in this year’s Track 200 list,” said Jonathan Quin, CEO of World First.
