Chase Pay, LevelUp Join Up to Make Food Ordering Easier

LevelUp offered a noteworthy proposition, allowing restaurants to readily offer order-ahead services to hungry customers who didn’t want to wait to make orders.

Now, a new measure gives that valuable service a lot more range: Chase Pay has stepped in and allowed its own users access to the LevelUp service, which should allow quite a few more users to engage in the practice.

Reports note that, now, users will be able to place orders with either LevelUp or Chase Pay scanners. This means that businesses will need to be participating in the program in order to get access to the services, and thus the necessary hardware. Those who do participate, however, will open up the potential of mobile-specific offers to provide to interested patrons.

Right now, it’s mostly available in Boston, but with the Chase Pay connection, the possibility of users in other states increases substantially.

The Chase Pay app will include a full list of participating merchants, which will likely directly impact some buying decisions.

Indeed, this is a great way for restaurants to pick up order quantities at their locations; we all know that remote order and pay functions are increasingly popular offerings at restaurants, sufficiently so that most of the fast food operations out there are currently offering it.

People like the convenience involved in being able to place an order and have it either mid-cook or ready to go by the time the customer actually goes to sit down. And why not? Being able to trim a few minutes of useless waiting off a restaurant visit can be welcomed.

Sure, some want that time to chat or just sit and quietly reflect, and they’re welcome to go about things the old-fashioned way. For those who have places to be and things to do, they can trim the time. That versatility can really draw some customers, and these days, restaurants need every advantage they can get.

It may not be enough to prompt going with Chase Pay and LevelUp, but for at least some restaurants, it will put a little extra sizzle in the bottom line. Convenience still counts for a lot these days, and being able to order and even pay in advance is a welcome time saver for many.
