Basware Wins Global Finance Treasury & Cash Management Award in Two Key Categories
Global Finance magazine has selected Basware, a provider of e-invoicing and purchase-to-pay, as the best provider of treasury management systems and services in two categories.
Basware mentioned in a press release that they received confirmation about being selected as Best Provider of AP Solutions as well as Best Provider of Integrated Working Capital Management Solutions by the esteemed magazine.
Basware is known for empowering businesses by connecting around a million companies across 100 countries and enables easy collaboration between buyers and suppliers of all sizes.
Commenting on being selected by the Global Finance magazine for two key categories, Bob Cohen, the North American Vice President of Basware, told the media that they are “honored to once again be recognized by Global Finance for our leadership in delivering innovative solutions and financial services that not only empower the buyer supplier relationship, but that also helps create a new era in B2B commerce.”
“Through our AP solutions, as well as new financing services powered by the Basware Commerce Network, we’re enabling new opportunities for strategic invoice payment, as well as other financing options,” mentioned Mr. Cohen. “This will help transform buyer-supplier commerce in the $100 trillion B2B trade market, and improve the financial health and cash flow of enterprises, small businesses and governments around the world.,” he added.
Global Finance magazine has recognized Basware’s leadership in providing top class automation, e-invoicing, and providing various payment strategy solutions.
Over the last few years the business of treasury and cash management has gone through an evolution where big banks have increased their focus on their core clients while regional banks focused on increasing their market share. Meanwhile, non-bank providers like payment companies have picked niche segments and giving larger banks a hard time competing in pricing and service.
Joseph D. Giarraputo, the publisher and editorial director of Global Finance said that the winners of Treasury & Cash Management Awards “reflect that changing landscape.” He also mentioned that the recipients of the awards “work hard to offer their clients sophisticated, best-of-breed solutions.”
