Powa Technologies Continues Expansion with CT-Payment’s Partnership
International commerce specialist Powa Technologies has joined forces with CT-Payment, a leading independent payment processor in Canada, to provide Canadian ISOs and software development partners with integrated access to payments processing and ultimately simplify transition to tablet-based POS.
With this partnership, POS software developers will now be able to connect directly to CT-Payment’s advanced payment processing solutions through PowaPOS SDK.
The first POS platform built for tablet-based payments, PowaPOS features a fully integrated design that removes the need for mismatched peripherals and guarantees ease of setup.
PowaPOS comes with 2D barcode scanner, built in thermal printer, universal tablet mount, USB ports, orientation sensors and optional PowaPOS Cash Drawer—all in a compact yet sophisticated form.
The advanced PowaPOS SDK allows for effortless integration with all POS software applications across all operating systems.
PowaPOS is also the first to offer merchants the choice to use their preferred payment processor.
Jeff Dumbrell, CEO of PowaPOS, commented, “By integrating CT-Payment into our SDK, our companies have removed the burden from the ISV and ISO of becoming payments experts, and provided them with a value-added service they can use to get their merchants to market faster. And, with CT-Payment’s Interac certification, we both dramatically simplify the transition to tablet POS that Canadian merchants are seeking; while also ensuring that the most advanced, secure payment processing is available.”
Through CT-Payment, ISOs and ISVs get access to the biggest debit- and credit-card processing company that is fully independent of Canadian financial institutions and acquirers.
