Popmoney is a peer-to-peer payment service, and can now a secure conduit for charitable donations funded by online or mobile banking accounts.

Those who wish to donate can do so with a simple online transaction that is secure due to bank-grade technology.

This decision is in light of recent studies that revealed 38 percent of donors made a donation to a charity using a check-free mobile transaction platform within the past year.

It comes as no surprise that even charitable donations are going mobile, and Fiserv was not going to be left out in the cold. This innovation is aligned with the trend of demand for convenience and on-the-go access to most transactions.
