U.S. Bank Chooses Fiserv’s Biller Advantage

U.S. Bank is linking up with Fiserv’s Biller Advantage solution to provide small businesses the means to offer their customers electronic billing and payment options, greatly reducing businesses’ reliance on paper checks.

Gary Brand, director, Source Capture Solutions at Fiserv, breaks down what this means for U.S. Bank’s business customers.

What kind of businesses are you looking to target with Biller Advantage?

Gary Brand: Biller Advantage from Fiserv enables business customers of all sizes to provide electronic billing (e-bills), presentment and payment options to their customers.

Biller Advantage is a cost effective, easily configurable solution that brings payment capabilities to businesses that send 2,000 or more bills per month.

Because Biller Advantage is designed to be easily implemented, it is ideal for billers with limited IT resources. The billing and payment channels can be implemented within days and it offers a real-time self-service configuration dashboard for billers to manage payments.

What separates Biller Advantage from other e-billing and repeating payment options?

Gary Brand: Biller Advantage is a comprehensive solution created for businesses and financial institutions to ease and streamline the e-billing process.

It can reduce costs, boost payment rates and increase cash flow for businesses. It is available across multiple channels including online, mobile, phone, and through Customer Service Representatives. It puts both the customer and business in control of their access.

Customers can manage their bills entirely online making it easier for them to do business. Through this service, businesses can ultimately improve customer retention by offering consumers their preferred payments channel.

It is also part of our eBill Distribution network, which allows businesses to present e-bills to customers at the business’s website or through the more than 4,000 financial institutions that are part of the network. Fiserv clients have access to 94% of all bank fed e-bills through this network.
