FICO Technology Used by Three of Spain’s Ten Largest Banks to Fight Fraud
An award winning anti-fraud platform from CONFIRMA Sistemas de Información has been helping to not only detect, but also put a halt to application fraud in some Spanish banks.
The platform is powered by FICO technology and has been adopted by Santander Consumer Finance, FinConsum (CaixaBank), and BanSabadell Fincom, three of Spain’s top ten Banks.
French consumer lender, Cofidis and finance firm FinDirect, are also early adopters of the platform.
The platform is designed to reduce credit fraud in Spain that disguises itself as legitimate loan requests and credit cards. It is available in software-as-a-service model to banks, insurance companies, credit insurance companies, telecommunications companies, payment entities and financial intermediaries.
Anti-fraud platform is easily customizable to fit all scenarios
The businesses that gain access to the platform can create their own fraud rules using the FICO Blaze Advisor decision rules management system. The platform includes a database of shared credit data that has been compiled by the different financial organizations that use the service.
As a leader in anti-fraud technology, FICO currently protects over 2.5 billion payment cards worldwide.
