Global Payments’ EMV Certified Mobile Solutions Help Advance EMV Adoption

Payment technology services provider Global Payments Inc has added a comprehensive mobile products suite to its full range of EMV certified mobile solutions to further advance EMV adoption in the United States.

Early this year, Global Payments has started offering innovative security services including EdgeShield and GlobalShield—all to ensure that merchants and application providers have access to the safest processing options in the industry.

The company has also implemented technologies such as EMV POS, tokenization, point-to-point encryption (P2PE), PCI-DSS customer assistance, real-time fraud protection and other solutions aimed at simplifying security and implementation for customers and partners. These solutions are sold individually or as packaged services.

The company’s newest offering includes Mobile Register, which allows customers to make the most out of EMV, Samsung Pay and contactless technology services such as Android Pay and Apple Pay.

Mobile Pay, its mobile point of sale that makes use of a card reader and app enables EMV chip card payments directly from iPhone, iPad or Android phone or tablet.
