GoCoin Enables SMS and Email Billing for Digital Currency Payments

GoCoin, the first checkout solution designed to accommodate both bitcoin and altcoins, has introduced a Click-to-Bill feature, making it easier for merchants to accept digital currency payments.

With this new feature, merchants can create invoices and request payments through email or text message directly from their dashboard in just a few clicks. The GoCoin API enables billing, making it possible for merchants to generate WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) forms.

For SMS invoices, customers receive an alert on their phones with a link to their bill. When they click it, their digital currency wallet will launch, prompting them to choose their preferred currency and submit the payment.

GoCoin offers simple plugins for e-commerce shopping carts to streamline the checkout process. Its open source plugin library now includes UberCart, OSCommerce, OpenCart, ZenCart, VirtureMart, Prestashop, Magento and WooCommerce.

The company also offers free office hours with its e-commerce engineers to assist merchants in the integration process and help them improve consumer engagement at checkout.
