Mozido Partners with MasterCard to Boost Mobile Payment Services
Texas-based Mozido, which provides financial and marketing services to mobile devices, will integrate MasterCard payment and security products into its suite of mobile payment, marketing and commerce services.
With this move, Mozido hopes to create a powerful mobile payments environment that will boost adoption for consumers and merchants.
Under the global commercial agreement between the companies, Mozido will integrate and promote the MasterCard integrated product suite as part of Mozido’s Mobile Transaction EcoSystem Architecture Framework (MoTEAFTM) platform—a highly interoperable platform that integrates easily with products from other vendors.
This white-label, cloud-based platform allows Mozido to serve people worldwide who opt to, or can only manage their money using their mobile phones, instead of relying on traditional financial institutions.
Through the partnership, MasterPass, HomeSend, MoneySend, rePower, and MasterCard security and commerce services will be integrated into Mozido-built mobile payment and commerce solutions.
Currently, Mozido supports MasterCard debit, credit and prepaid cards as mobile wallet funding sources.
Michael Liberty, founder of Mozido, commented: “Mozido is honored to have a global agreement to embrace the MasterCard network of merchants, consumers, and payments services within Mozido’s mobile ecosystem solutions.”
“This partnership will help to accelerate my vision to bring hope, opportunity, and financial fairness to the financially disenfranchised around the world, through mobile financial services. I believe that empowering unbanked people around the world will lead to tremendous economic development and is a pathway to prosperity for all involved.”
