Bitmarkers Working Behind the Scenes to Make Offline Bitcoin Gambling a Safe Bet

Payment Week recently had the opportunity to speak with the CEO of Bitmarkers, Ardon Lukasiewicz, about his company as well as his efforts to improve the bitcoin gambling community.

Lukasiewicz is capitalizing on bitcoin gambling by allowing users to book hotels and receive makers (interest free lines of credit) from casinos without having to exchange their bitcoins for USD. Bitmarkers will be the only company offering this service.

Ardon has a lot of confidence in the market for bitcoin gambling stating, “Bitcoin gaming has proven to be the most convenient method for many players online. Some of these websites are seeing exponential growth with the notable Just-Dice’s $400k in profits after a month of operations and SatoshiDice’s sale for $11.5m (126BTC) after 9 months of operations is now valued over $47m at current market price.”

Ardon states that 70% of online gamblers also gamble in casinos, and he thinks Bitmarkers’ simplicity will persuade them to use bitcoins either way. While Lukasiewicz is very confident in the success of Bitmarkers, the Senior Financial Analyst for the Aria in Las Vegas seems to have a real passion for the gaming industry in general, and is actively looking to build a robust community not only around his product, but for gaming and bitcoins as well. Ardon finished up the interview with a peek into how he’s going about this stating, “Our first initiative is inviting our beta users to join our “secret” forums. It is hidden from public for deeper and private conversations, gamified (power users, badges, points), uses advanced forum software, and invitations only come from members. It is the initial effort to create a serious community, unlike anything in gaming - or even bitcoin for that matter- and I am very devoted to it.”
