Mozido Brings Mobile Wallet to India’s Digital Music Service

US-based mobile payments company Mozido has entered the Indian market through a partnership with Saavn, the leading music streaming service in the South Asian country.

Through the partnership, Saavn will leverage Mozido’s mobile wallet and engagement platform to simplify payments, financial services, rewards and offers for the digital music service’s 18 million listeners.

Mozido’s mobile wallet payment platform will be integrated as the preferred payment option for the Saavn Pro premium service, which enables listening to music ad-free and offline.

The partnership is a win-win situation for both companies: Saavn will be able to provide listeners with access to a convenient payment method; Mozido gets an opportunity to offer a wider range of financial and engagement services to Saavn’s growing consumer base.

Mozido will also be able to tap into Saavn’s native ad inventory to promote its mobile wallet service.

Under the deal, Saavn will contribute early access to music releases, movie tickets, concert passes, rebates and other perks on Saavn Pro subscriptions.

It will also create unique branded content for the promotions including tips, trivia and playlists, as well as integrating Mozido into activities that involve live music performances across India.
